My IP address is blacklisted by some sender reputation RBL and emails are not delivered.
How can I remove it form the blacklists?

Our dedicated IP are only assigned to one account at a time, so we expect those users to take responsibility for all of the mail that is sent through their account. 

Please note: in the event that a sending domain (and not the IP address) is blacklisted, that domain’s controller will be responsible for handling the delisting request.

RBLs are blacklists of IP addresses. One IP address enters into a blacklist for spamming activity.
Here you can find instructions on what to do once the IP address entered into one or more blacklists.

Why did you get into the blacklist in the first place?

First of all, make sure you identified the reason for the blacklisting.
If you didn’t identify and resolve it, you will just make things worse by asking for delisting. The IP will be quickly re-blacklisted and it will be harder to delist it.
So, check why the IP has been blacklisted and fix the source of the problem before going ahead.
Once you resolved all the problems (if it is a new IP address there is no problem to resolve, of course), you can go ahead with the delisting with the following instructions.

First time cleanup

If you just acquired this IP address, make sure that the dns reverse lookup is set before requesting removal from blacklists.
When asked for a reason for requesting delisting, tell that you just acquired the IP address.

Delisting

First of all, let Valli check a bunch of RBLs for you: http://multirbl.valli.org/lookup
For each RBL where the IP is listed, follow the link and read the instructions on how to delist.
Each RBL has it’s own rules, some of them require an email verification in order to delist, some of them require that you explain the reasons of the listing (if it’s a new ip address just tell them that this ip address has just been assigned to you), some of them don’t allow delisting at all (it’s automatic after some time).

In the Valli list of RBLs, some are more important than others.
Some important blacklists are Spamhaus, Barracuda, SORBS, V4BL.
Start requesting the delisting from the important ones and then proceed until you requested delisting from all of the blacklists that allow it. The ones that don’t accept delisting requests will delist automatically after some time (like rbldns.ru).

There are some important blacklists that are not checked by Valli, make sure you remove the IP address also from those:

This list doesn’t provide a test to check if the IP is blacklisted, you can easily test by sending an email from the ESVA IP address to a hotmail email address. If the email does go through then the IP address is not blacklisted, if the email isn’t delivered you can read in the SMTP response message the reason. You can find the SMTP response message in the maillog. Copy the text because it is needed in the removal request.

This service is not just for bulk mailers, it is also used for delisting requests. Just like the Outlook service above, it does not offer a reputation lookup service so you should test for blacklisting trying to send an email to a yahoo email address and checking the result as described above for Outlook. In order to request delisting you must have a yahoo account, which you can create for free.

It is not possible to check whether an ip address is listed or not. If your ip address is listed your messages will be bounced with an SMTP clause similar to this:

IP Reputation Monitoring

There are some services that allow you to monitor your reputation and check it over time. You can take advantage of this services if you send a few thousand emails on a daily basis to domains like gmail or hotmail. For small amounts of email traffic they don’t provide feedback.

*Sistem tercihlerine girin

*Ağ’ı seçin

*Açılan pencerede soldaki listede eğer usb modem varsa “**” olan maddeye geçin yoksa listenin sol alt kısmında küçük bir “+” işareti var. Bunu seçin.

*Arabirim kısmından “HUAWEIMobile-Modem” seçeniğini bulup seçin. ZTE veya başka model vınn kullanıyorsanız onu seçin servis adı çok önemli değil ama vınnmodem vs. yapabilirsiniz karışmasın diğer ağlarla.

**Şimdi sol tarafta bulunan listeden HUAWEIMobile-Modem’i seçin. “konfigürasyon-saptanmamış”, “telefon numarası- *99#” “hesap adı” ve “parola” kısımlarını boş bırakın. “modem durumunu menü çubuğunda göster” diyerek menüden rahat ulaşabilirsiniz tercih sizin. İleri düzeyi açın.

*İleri Düzey>Modem kırılımında “satıcı: (genel)”, “model: (gprs(gsm/3g))”, “apn: (mgb)” yazıp tamam deyin.

Bundan sonra olay bitmiştir. Bağlan diyip bağlanmanız lazım. Umarım işinizi görür sorun yaşayan olursa elimden geldiğince yardımcı olmaya çalışırım.

Dipnot: En son apn kısmına mgb yazmıştık. Eğer statik ip aboneliğiniz varsa “mgbs” yazacaksınız. Eğer data hattı değilde modemde standart bir cep telefonu hattı kullanıyorsanız “internet” yazacaksınız.

Endipnot: Bu ayardan sonra vınn uygulamasına gerek yok direk menü çubuğundan bağlan deyip bağlanabilirsiniz.

Aşağıda PRTG programının (9.1 versiyonu) kurulum aşamaları anlatılmıştır.

1. http://www.paessler.com/prtg/download adresinden program indirilir.
2. Eğer programın Trial (tüm özellikleri içeren 30 günlük deneme sürümü) kurulmak istenirse deneme sürümü için lisans anahtarı istenebilir.
3. Kurulum dosyası indirildikten sonra kuruluma başlanılır. Next (İleri)  tuşuna basılarak devam edilir.
4. Lisans sözleşmesi kabul edilerek Next (İleri) tuşuna basılır.
5. Programın kurulacağı dosya yolu belirtilerek Next (İleri) tuşuna basılır.
6. Bu aşamada programın kurulması beklenerek herhangi bir tuşa basılmaz.
7. Bu aşamada programın hangi versiyonunun kurulacağı seçilir. Programın Freeware (ücretsiz), Trial (Tam sürümün tüm özelliklerini içeren 30 günlük deneme versiyonu) ve Commercial (Ücretli tam sürüm)olmak üzere 3 farklı kurulum seçeneği vardır. Ücretsiz sürüm 10 taneye kadar sensöre izin verdiğinden bu dokümanda Trial versiyonu seçilmiştir.
8. Bu aşamada daha önce e-posta adresine gönderilen “kullanıcı adı” ve “lisans anahtarı” bilgisi girilir veNext (İleri) tuşuna basılır.
9. Bu aşamada Admin hesabı bilgileri ve sistemdeki herhangi bir alarm durumunda uyarının gönderilceği e-posta adresi yazılır. Bunun yanında “Standalone” ve “Cluster” olmak üzere iki ayrı seçenek bulunur.Standalone Mode‘da tek sunucu üzerinden sistem gözlenir. Cluster Mode ise daha profesyonel kullanım için oluşturulan bir seçenektir. Cluster Mode‘da sistem birden çok sunucu tarafından gözlemlenebilir. Bu dokümanda Standalone Mode seçilerek kuruluma devam edilmiştir.
10. Bu aşamadan sonra kurulum tamamlanır. Next (İleri) tuşuna basılır ve programın İnternet arayüzü açılır.
    
11. İnternet arayüzünü kullanmak için giriş yapılır. Programa ilk girişte “defaut login” seçeneği kullanılır. Daha sonradan kullanıcı adı ve şifresi değiştirilebilir.
    
12. İnternet arayüzüne girildikten sonra ekrandaki seçeneklerden istenenler gerçekleştirilir. Sensör eklemek için Add Sensor(s) Manually (Elle Sensör Ekle) seçeneğine tıklanır.
13. Ekrana gelen menüde yeni bir cihaz oluşturmak için Create a New Device (Yeni bir cihaz oluştur), var olan bir cihaza sensör eklemek için de Add sensor to an existing device (Var olan bir cihaza sensör ekle)seçeneği işaretlenip Continue (Devam Et) tuşuna tıklanır. Bu aşamada var olan bir cihaza sensör eklenerek devam edilecektir.
    
14. Bu aşamadaki ekrana sensör çeşitlerinin seçilebileceği bir liste gelir. Örnek olarak Windows işletim sistemi üzerinde çalışan ve seçilen Ağ Bağdaştırıcısı (Network Card) üzerindeki Bant genişliği ve trafiği(Bandwidth/Traffic) gözlemleyen bir sensör oluşturulacaktır.
    
15. Bu aşamada ekrana var olan ağ bağdaştırıcılarını listesi gelir ve istenen bağdaştırıcı seçilir ve bu şekilde ilgili sensör eklenmiş olur.
16. Ana sayfadaki Sensors seçeneğinden oluşturulmuş sensörlerin listesi görülebilir.
    
17. İlgili sensörün üzerine çift tıklandığında ağ bağdaştırıcısı hakkında detaylı bilgilere ulaşılabilir.
18. Menüdeki Live Data (Anlık Veri) seçeneğine tıklanarak ilgili bağdaştırıcı üzerinden geçen trafik anlık olarak gözlemlenebilir.Veriyi işlemek size kalmış 🙂
